Our Story
Cool & Heat Ltd was established in 2001, initially as a refrigeration maintenance and repair business. Our Head Office was in Preston, with a small team of engineers serving the local area.
Growing year on year in terms of turnover, engineering capacity & employees, we soon became a recognised name within the Facilities Management sector.
A decade later, The ACE Group acquired Cool and Heat Ltd. The next eight years consisted of significant investment, training, re-branding & growth. Our coverage also grew, with Contracts being awarded throughout the UK.
Keeping up with demand we created a project department, purely focusing on new design and installation or energy efficient & sustainable Air Conditioning, Heating & Ventilation Projects
Expansion
In 2019, we furthered our skillset by bringing our Gas commitments in-house and starting a gas division. Now Gas Safe is registered and covers from Scotland to Birmingham providing Commercial Gas, Water, Air Conditioning, Refrigeration, and Ventilation
2021 saw the sale of the ACE Group, with Cool & Heat reverting to sole ownership, and a rebrand soon followed.
In 2022, we currently attend more than 4000 sites annually throughout the whole of the UK. Our 20+ field-based engineers, all of which have manufacturing capabilities, are City & Guilds trained, Refcom & Gas Safe accredited, as well as ISO 9001, ISO 14001, CHAS, ConstructionLine, Safe Contractor and Altius accredited, to name a few.
